This policy explains what information Dotway ("the app", "we") collects, why, and how it is used. Dotway is a puzzle game and does not require an account, a profile, or any personal information to play.
Your level progress, stars, and daily-challenge streak are stored locally on your device. We never see this data — it stays on your phone unless you enable the cloud save feature below.
If you sign in with Google Play Games, Dotway uses Google's Saved Games service to back up and restore your progress across devices. This requires Google to authenticate you with your Google account. Dotway itself only reads and writes your game-progress data (levels completed, stars, daily streak) — it does not access your contacts, files, or any other data on your Google account. Dotway shows ads via Google AdMob to keep the game free, and offers a rewarded-ad option to earn hints or a temporary ad-free session. AdMob may collect device identifiers (such as the advertising ID), approximate location, and other technical data to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. Where required by law (e.g. in the EEA, UK, and similar regions), Dotway shows a consent screen (Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalized ads or non-essential data collection occurs, and you can change your choice at any time from the game's Settings. Optional purchases (such as removing ads) are processed entirely by Google Play. Dotway never sees or stores your payment details.
Dotway is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at the address below and we will remove it.
Uninstalling Dotway removes all locally stored progress from your device. If you used cloud save, you can delete that saved data from your Google Account's Google Play Games permissions page, or by contacting us at the address below.
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will update the "Last updated" date above.
